Time is but the stream I go a-fishing in. I drink at it; but while I drink I see the sandy bottom and detect how shallow it is. Its thin current slides away, but eternity remains.

stargazing

if you only look up and see a small patch of the sky, you only know how to head in that one direction.  it's easy looking back after all the searching you did, with the broadened sky you have, and say - well, i wish i knew to turn my head here in the first place. but the problem is, it is impossible for you to know what you like or dislike unless you already experienced it, impossible for you to find a new path if you never stumble on your current one. face the world with a childlike wonder, to anticipate not what's negative, but the beautiful things there are for us to behold within every single day.  our bodies are formed from stardust, the same elements that constitute all living species and everything on this planet. despite all the rarity of life itself however,  we live in a rather unremarkable galaxy. our solar system is on the unremarkable outskirts of said galaxy, and the sun it revolves around is all but one small star among 100 billion. orbiting around said sun...
